Ernst & Young presents its annual Entrepreneur of the Year award to the most successful and innovative entrepreneurial business leaders in more than 125 cities in 40 countries around the globe. New England award recipients were announced at the 19th Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 23. A panel of independent judges named Mueller the winner in the Industrial Products & Services category. Along with the additional regional winners across the country, he will now be considered for the national Entrepreneur of the Year awards to be presented in November. |

Mueller co-founded Color Kinetics in 1997 with Ihor Lys, CTO. He was instrumental in spearheading the company's technical innovation, navigating its growth, and fostering the early adoption of intelligent solid-state lighting across a number of emerging markets. In 2004 he led the company to a number of important milestones, including the successful completion of its initial public offering.
