"The continued strides of our OEM and Licensing business reflect the value it offers to both new and existing partners, encompassing the core expertise, technologies, intellectual property and support required to bring their unique products to market," said Bill Sims, President and CEO, Color Kinetics. "In particular, the renewals speak to the tangible success that our program delivers for partners. We have devoted significant sales and development resources to expand our options for third parties, making Color Kinetics' technology readily adaptable to diverse markets and applications."

Companies align with Color Kinetics in several ways, including the purchase of DLEs and other subsystems and components for turnkey integration into their own product lines, and by licensing the company's core technologies and corresponding issued patents. Color Kinetics' partners capitalize on the fast-growing market opportunities for intelligent solid-state lighting by leveraging the company's wealth of knowledge derived from a multi-million dollar R&D program, hundreds of thousands of lighting devices shipped, and more than 10,000 lighting installations worldwide. The company's OEM and Lighting business spans both color and white LED technology, and reaches diverse markets including architectural and entertainment lighting, gaming, aerospace, pool, spa, signage, and consumer products, among others.
