Engineering with LEDs is surprisingly subtle with a respect to a variety of factors, namely technical, thermal, placement, binning, and optics issues. Accordingly, the grant of a license to our patents does not necessarily mean that the licensee's products are comparable to ours, does not constitute our endorsement of the licensee's products, and does not mean that the licensee is using components designed or manufactured by Color Kinetics.
