Diesel opened its doors in June 2006 with a towering, dynamic Color Kinetics installation that matches the energy of the club itself.

Conceptualized by Miami-based firm idesign, a two-story color-morphing wall forms the centerpiece of the club’s interior – creating an animated backdrop for the dance floor and musical performances. The wall’s frosted surface is back-lit by 415 units of iColor Cove®. Each 6” (15.2 cm) unit is individually controllable to generate hundreds of colors and unique patterns that are triggered with a simple touch-screen monitor.
