As part of an overall refurbishment project to mark its 75th birthday, the Ben Franklin Bridge received a colorful makeover, which was made possible by Philips LED lighting. These controllable LED lighting systems are used to saturate the bridge's deck in dynamic colorful light. The LED light fixtures are programmed to display a variety of light shows that were specially designed for special events and for holidays.
