Promenada Novi Sad Mall

Located in one of the most attractive locations in Novi Sad, the 150,000 m² Promenada Novi Sad Mall houses approximately 150 tenants offering customers a wide range of leisure, shopping, and entertainment options.

The client wanted to provide a large quantity of natural light, combined with various lighting effects, to provide a fully immersive experience for visitors and enhance their shopping experience. The result was a unique lighting design used in Serbia for the first time.

A lighting solution was needed for each area of the complex - from the main entrance to the parking garage – all designed to blend discreetly into each space and to attract shoppers with high-quality light. Signify created unique solutions for each area, with more than 8,280 light points used in the project.

The exterior architectural lighting was designed with a dynamic Color Kinetics system featuring 377 Graze MX Powercore gen2, eW with Digital Dimming luminaires.

Completed in 2018, the client is pleased with the significant energy savings achieved compared to conventional lighting, brilliant quality of light, and wide flexibility and control of the system.

The mall is not just a place to shop; it has become a gathering space and an entertainment venue. To deliver a memorable retail experience, the environment must be welcoming and engaging. Installing the right lighting is essential. Consumer habits continually change, becoming increasingly selective about their retail experiences and better connected with the latest technological innovations.

The project redefines the retail scene in Novi Sad and the region. Augmented by a dynamic architectural lighting system, Promenada Novi Sad is one of the most spectacular buildings in Serbia.
