PSV FANstore

The PSV (Philips Sports Association) FANstore at the Philips Stadium is a gathering place for the PSV’s most ardent supporters to purchase the latest match jersey and other gear. There, the club’s fans are immersed in an environment where PSV, Eindhoven, and Puma come together to deliver a compelling fan experience and brand promotion.

When the store underwent a rebranding, the new design intended to evoke a tough Puma look. Inspired by the concept of Puma’s Manchester United shop, a special direct view lighting solution was developed to emphasize the brand experience.

Selected for their energy-efficiency, long lifespan, and capability for precise control, strong lines of Color Kinetics Vaya Tube, RGB LED luminaires, 1.2 m (30 pcs) (now specified with Vaya Tube G2, RGBW) - in custom housings created by Livingprojects - appear to float in the air throughout the store. The lines of light deliver a dynamic play of colors, especially PSV’s iconic red and white. The system is controlled by Color Kinetics iPlayer 3 and powered by a ZCX401 controller module.

Completed in November 2021, the striking lighting solution enhances the experience for supporters and tourists in the store.
